Live quizzing for teams and classrooms

Run a live quiz in the time it takes to explain the rules.

Write your questions, put a QR code on the screen, and watch the leaderboard fill up as people answer. Highest score wins — and when scores tie, the fastest finisher takes it.

Quiz takers never sign in. They scan and start.

Three steps, start to leaderboard

  1. 1

    Write the questions

Multiple choice, two to six options, your own points per question. Set the time limit once and it governs every attempt.

  2. 2

    Share the QR code

Every quiz gets a printable QR code and a short join code. Put either on a slide, a handout, or the wall.

  3. 3

    Watch the results

The leaderboard updates itself while people play. Export it as CSV, or read the per-question breakdown to see what tripped everyone up.

Built for the awkward parts

Ties break on time

Two people on full marks is a draw everywhere else. Here the faster attempt wins, so your leaderboard always has a top.

A timer that cannot be gamed

The countdown runs on the server. Refreshing resumes the same attempt with the same deadline; it never hands out a fresh clock.

Nothing lost to a closed tab

Answers save as they are picked. If the time runs out, the attempt is submitted automatically with whatever was answered.

Answers stay on the server

Participants are sent the questions, never the answer key. Scoring happens server-side, and the leaderboard never leaks which option was right.

Two-factor for makers

Maker accounts use a password plus an authenticator app, with single-use recovery codes. Takers need no account at all.

Runs on your own machine

No database to install, no accounts with anyone else, no data leaving your network. Start it, share the address, done.

Your first quiz is about five minutes away.

Create a maker account, add a handful of questions, and put the QR code on screen.
